Why does the result round up?
Stores sell full bags, boxes, cans, rolls, panels, or pieces. The tool keeps the mathematical amount visible, then rounds the purchasing quantity up separately.
Why do tons vary for the same cubic yards?
Aggregate type, size, moisture, and void space change bulk density. The supplier's product-specific value is best.
Is gravel under concrete included?
No. Calculate the aggregate base as its own layer, then calculate the concrete slab separately.
