How we work

Editorial policy

Every indexed page must solve a distinct problem, state its method, cite a useful source, and carry a review date.

Source hierarchy

We prefer U.S. government guidance, standards bodies, manufacturer manuals, product specifications, and recognized technical references. Secondary sources can help explain a method but do not replace primary safety guidance.

Review standard

A page is checked for calculation logic, units, safety caveats, clarity, links, and whether its promise matches the visible result. We do not publish an appliance code unless it is confirmed in a primary manual.

Programmatic content

Templates may make presentation consistent, but a page is indexable only when it has distinct data, a useful result, a worked example, meaningful context, and an appropriate source.
